Jacqueline & Andrew’s Wedding at Quinta da Bella Vista in Sintra, Portugal

Jacqueline and Andrew travelled from Florida to Portugal for a celebration that extended beyond the wedding day. On 25 June 2025, they gathered 50 guests at Quinta da Bella Vista in Sintra, with Carla Bueno Weddings & Events responsible for Full Planning.
Their celebration brought together time on the water, a dinner by the beach and a wedding reception beneath a glass roof. White and pale blue flowers, white linens and cane-backed chairs gave the reception a clear visual rhythm, framed by the surrounding greenery.
A celebration across several days
On 24 June, a catamaran outing in Lisbon was followed by an evening dinner at Mar do Guincho in Cascais, beside the beach. These shared occasions made the wider celebration part of the story, rather than leaving everything to a single day at the venue.
Guest collection points and return journeys connected the different locations, with a ceremony rehearsal between the daytime outing and dinner. For a group travelling from abroad, the arrangements extended well beyond the ceremony and reception.

A wedding day at Quinta da Bella Vista
Jacqueline and Andrew prepared in separate spaces before meeting for a first look and photographs together ahead of the ceremony.
Time was reserved for the photography and film teams to capture the prepared ceremony and dinner spaces before guests entered. Floral installation, equipment delivery and music setup were coordinated around the couple’s preparations and portraits.

A Jewish ceremony beneath the chuppah
The signing of the ketubah preceded the ceremony beneath the chuppah. The tallit, ceremonial cup and glass were included in the preparations, with each item placed within the ceremony sequence. Violin music accompanied the arrivals and processional, followed by the breaking of the glass.
Later, the Hora brought guests together on the dance floor before dinner. These traditions had their own place in the celebration, carried through from the ceremony into the evening.

White and pale blue flowers beneath the glass roof
At the reception, the glass structure and greenery formed the setting for tables dressed in white. Floral arrangements in white and pale blue ran through the space, with glassware, candles and cane-backed chairs adding texture without competing with the surroundings.
Wide views of the reception belong beside closer details of the tables, allowing the article to show both the scale of the setting and the individual elements that brought it together.

Bringing the celebration together
Carla Bueno Weddings & Events provided Full Planning for Jacqueline and Andrew’s celebration. Guest transport was coordinated alongside the preparations at the venue, from the previous day’s transfers to the return journeys after the wedding.
During cocktail hour, chairs were moved to the reception and name cards placed before guests entered the dinner space. Live music, meal service and speeches were coordinated with the couple’s photographs and cake cutting, bringing the different parts of the evening together.
Flowers from the chuppah continued into the reception: one was placed at each guest’s setting, while other ceremony flowers decorated the cake table. The table used beneath the chuppah was also repurposed for the cake. These transitions were coordinated during the evening, carrying elements of the ceremony into the next part of the celebration.
For Jacqueline and Andrew, Portugal was the setting for a celebration shared over several days. The reception’s glass roof, flowers and greenery give the story its visual character; the coordination across its different settings and moments held the wider celebration together.
