The sea provided the backdrop to Lily and Michael’s wedding in Costa da Caparica. Peach and white flowers framed the beach ceremony, while long reception tables combined natural textures with a view across the water.
Held on 4 June 2026, the celebration was planned in full by Carla Bueno Weddings & Events. Its coastal character carried through the ceremony and reception, from the floral details to the individual table settings.
A Beach Ceremony in Costa da Caparica
A floral arch in peach and white stood beside the ocean, giving the ceremony a focal point within the open coastal setting.
The flowers introduced colour against the sand and water, while the surrounding landscape remained an essential part of the scene. Portraits of Lily and Michael along a sandy path continued that connection with the coast.
A Reception Overlooking the Sea
Peach Flowers and Natural Textures
At the reception, peach floral elements appeared alongside white linen, woven placemats and gold-toned napkin rings. The repeated flowers connected the tables with the ceremony, while the woven textures brought another dimension to each place setting.
Long tables and thatched parasols established the wider reception layout. Beyond them, the ocean remained in view.
The setting worked at both scales: guests shared the coastal surroundings, while the table details brought the celebration into the space immediately around them.
Planning the Celebration, Down to Each Place Setting
Carla Bueno Weddings & Events brought the overall planning and organisation together with the preparation of the reception’s practical details.
Cocktail tables were organised, menus and guest-name elements coordinated, and the printed items packaged and prepared for the celebration. This work connected the reception arrangements with the details waiting at the tables.
The menus, names, linen and flowers formed part of the finished setting. Their preparation sat within a wider process that considered the celebration as a whole, alongside the individual elements needed for it.
For Lily and Michael, the result was a coastal wedding with a consistent visual thread: peach flowers, natural textures and the sea, carried through distinct moments of the day.
